It started as an open invitation to friends and was transformed into a meeting and relevant organization so that even the APP wanted to do this. There were three days when body art, modifications, events, and jewelry were the only relevant issues, where any conversation, as superficial as it seemed, gave way to further discussions and exchange of experiences sought solutions and improvements to the conditions and knowledge Body Piercing the country.
The meeting was held on 12, 13 and February 14 in the 3 rd region of Atacama, and invited professional artists from all over Chile, which had to prove his status by curriculum and demonstrating their interest in attending an event that did not have the registration fee but the cost of accommodation , transport and power of each, a relevant factor when considering the planning board, which was in charge of the artist "Piercer" Copiapina Mauricio "Banana" Torres, BodyArt Extigma was an excellent level, performing each of the items proposed in the program, all in exchange congratulations and good memories of this meeting.
The first day took place educational talks in the Center of El Palomar, by health professionals, nurses and doctors, who presented on oral anatomy and dental Risk (Dr. Karen Omon) and skin anatomy, histology and risks in people is incompatible with the piercing ( Dr. Marcelo Bravo), Preventing Infections (Ms. Miriam Gonzalez), and First Aid, blackouts, fainting, bleeding control (Mr. Juan Pasten). Plasty was performed live lobe (lobe reconstruction), for attendees, comparing aseptic procedures, with a canopy of surgery, which was carried out Felipe Silva (piercer Iquique), which was attended by all guests and exchange views and techniques, an instance in which the artists demonstrate their expertise and professionalism, impressing guests physicians because of concerns that addressed the issues and do everything under the highest standards of hygiene and care. Each physician noted and welcomed the initiative and congratulated the participants for their desire to formalize and fight for a better future for the Chilean body art.
After the presentations, the group moved to the town of Caldera, where they could share and build friendships outside of the item that met. Festivals and beers at night, pool and food of the area the next day, created the precursor to the roundtable, which took place on the seafront in Bahia Inglesa, one more instance
intimate and private in which they discussed borer Ethics (proposed by Gonzalo Sepulveda), cartilages (Javier Fingazz) and Last but not least, Acupuncture & Body Piercing (Eduardo Sierralta). Each of the topics of interest to all alike, serving to share common experiences, techniques, visions and perspectives, and learn about issues that are really interesting, and that could potentially give greater importance to Body Piercing by of traditional and alternative medicine. Unfortunately, the night is not allowed to be addressed other issues, history of modern piercing (Banana), Education targeted at customers (Erick Zumaran), natural healing and the relationship between nutrition and perforations (Aravena Gonzalo Aravena and Gustabo) and Expressions of change in Hispanic cultures of Chile (Carlos Pizarro " Aboriginal "). We hope that these presentations are not lost and that we can present as articles on the website or simply http://tintaletras.ning.com/ better and resume them at next meeting.
To end the meeting, which so far was good, 14 February showed his love for the Body Art through a ritual of suspensions in a mythical place, Pier machining Caldera, which was intended to make a collective suspension, but eventually took place only a total of 5. Thanks to the landscape (an environment against the clear waters from the bustle of the city and with its mysticism), and due to difficult access to the site, you could make a beautiful smooth suspensions or discomfort. As a special guest at the meeting, I was also part of the ritual, and I admit that was an amazing experience in which the pain was going into the background once wrapped around you and you realize the beauty of that moment. A gold pin to crown a meeting without negative details and completely successful.
If you are
regret for not attending, I tell them that the event took place in a somewhat closed for being the first time, but had the presence of the most prominent piercers in the country, trying to realize this project that is sure to impact on a new board with more classes, more places for guests and with better organization for its 2nd edition.
So look attentive the next National Board of Professional Piercers, as the will and the support there, so it is a future event rather than insurance.
could talk about the details of this first meeting but not worth it. The next meeting will secure material PPP, international guests, and who knows what other surprises more.
