Guevara not know me write this, it is indicated: D, but my duty as a former aspiring hacker compels me to share information that is likely to be useful to others.

Before reading further clarify what we do.
already be aware of the Google service called "googlepages", which is free and allows you to host a web site completely free and without advertising (at least for now). The downside of this is that it hosts the site on a type subdminio. Googlepages.com (crappy)

NOTE: googlepages does not host a lot, or run PHP, MySQL least, does not have unlimited transfer and dynamic applications. In other words, it sucks, but provides an excellent hosting HTML (free and with the confidence of Google), which is useful for a school site, business (my case) and personal pages that do not require constant updates.

is currently not possible, no default, host your own domain with googlepages service, but there is a way to do it, and I do not mean to use a simple redirection to the famous function cloak, but host it (apparently) our own domain like: www.midominio.com / algo.htm

This is a very short, very short, but for someone who knows what I mean sure I will understand.

Open an account with Google Apps and assign a domain.
In my case the domain is a. Com.mx, I bought it in nic.mx, but this does not allow me to use the CNAME option, so I opened an account at afraid.org and changed the DNS to it. This goes for any type of domain.

OK, now activate the "Websites" in Google Apps, and assign a subdomain to that function, in this case the www subdomain, so that our site appear as www.misitio.com.

Now open the account in afraid.org, add the domain. Czech to make this appear as 'private', otherwise anyone will be able to make a subdomain with your domain.
Now add a subdomain, this will put www, see image:


Add another subdomain, but you leave this field blank and use the "Forward to a URL" within this option subdomain return to leave blank, and do the redirect to the www subdomain (www.misitio.com) this way, when someone types tusitio.com and without the www then this redirected to www.

Returning to Google Apps, select Websites function, and upload your respective pages in HTM. Now just type in your browser www.tusitio.com / pag.htm and your site should appear.
If you want to upload your site in HTML have the option of using GP editor.

note: googlepages does not recognize an index.htm (or similar) as your home page, so you must write at least one page with the editor and put this as googlepages main page, otherwise you'll get a horrible 404. Any doubt
